The Bob Rex Trio will offer some swinging jazz tunes while guests gather in support of our illustrious Toledo Opera. The fundraising event is being organized by guild members Barbara Bettinger, Mary Beaber and JoAnn Phipps.
Cocktail hour begins at 6:30 p.m. that Monday, followed by dinner at 7 p.m. at the restaurant, 5375 Airport Highway.
Cost is $45 per person, which includes salad, choice of entrée, and dessert (see menu below). RSVP by Jan. 21. Please indicate your meal and waiter preference.

LaScola staff will be tending tables and serving the meal, and our celebrity waiters will entertain guests and collect "tips" that directly support Toledo Opera.
Guests are encouraged to dress in jazz-era or fine dining attire. If you feel like cutting a rug or scatting to the smokin' beats, you go right ahead!
MENU:
Salad di Casa: mixed greens, grape tomatoes and gorgonzola cheese tossed in white balsamic vinaigrette
Entrées: Cheese Manicotti: rolled pasta with herbed ricotta topped with marinara, alfredo and pesto sauces; New York Strip: choice center-cut steak with porcini mushroom butter sauce, vegetables and potato lasagna; Lake Superior Whitefish: pecan-polenta-crusted sautéed fillet with porcini butter sauce and vegetables; Chicken Marsala: chicken sautéed and flamed with Marsala wine, wild mushrooms and shallots
Dessert: Caramel Pecan Tiramisu: lady finger cookies layered with sweet mascarpone cheese, caramel, pecans and whipped cream
